For the third year in a row, the Esse 750 International Class met July 21-23 for a sailing regatta on Lake St. Moritz.

At perfect weather conditions, with the wind blowing at a speed of 10 to 18 knots, the teams were able to sail eight races. Sailboats SUI 031, SUI 032, and GER 029 participated for the first time. SUI 032 in particular, piloted by Hans Peterhans; and Michael and Lukas Loser, seemed to have embraced Julius Caesar's motto, "I came, I saw, I conquered." They held the lead position up to the sixth race, when SUI 025, with Stefan Schuchter and Mark Huber at the helm, turned the regatta around and, with a two-point lead, finished in first place—for the third time in a row.

It was an exciting and highly competitive race all around, as the leaderboard, the event photos and the video show. At the award ceremony, participants said they were already looking forward to the Esse 750 Cup in 2018.
