At this year's SVT Esseboats Cup, a new regatta format for Esse sailboats was tried out for the first time. The regatta event was held from 8 to 10 July on Lake Zurich at SVT Thalwil. The special thing about it: any type of Esseboat can take part.

In August and September 2021, members of the Esse 750 International Class will meet again for two regatta events in Switzerland:
- Clubmeisterschaft from the Segelverein Thalwil; August 20 and 21, 2021 (August 20 start 18h30, August 21 whole day) – SVT-Terminübersicht on manage2sail
- Esse Cup 2021 - Esse 750 & Esse 850: September 25 & 26, 2021 – SVT Esse Cup 2021 on manage2sail
