Around about 250‘000 people visited the «boot» in Düsseldorf from 23rd – 31st of January 2016. The unique stand of «Esseboats» enjoyed high attention and attracted approximately 4‘500 fairgoers. Many new, interesting contacts could be made and several Esse were even sold on the spot. However, the greatest pleasure for Josef and Stefan Schuchter was to recognize the continuously ongoing enthusiasm about «Esseboats» amongst the sailing audience. The «boot» hence was a big power booster for «Esseboats» and a great start to the upcoming season. Many thanks to all visitors!

From 23. – 31. of January 2016, the annual «boot» takes place in Düsseldorf. As usual, «Esseboats» will again be part of the world’s biggest fair in water sports. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in hall 15 at our stand (nr. 21). Past weekend, the Esse 750 International Class was established under most beautiful conditions at St. Moritz. The event, held by Segelclub St. Moritz, started on Friday night with the official establishment of the class. Under the lead of Esse-Mastermind Josef Schuchter, the seven owners present brought the class into being and elected its first steering committee. The president, Michael Ring, as well as all further committee members were elected unanimously, which cleared the way for some first class sailing action on Lake St. Moritz.

With the „Uri-Stier“, a traditional regatta took place on the weekend of 4. /5. July on Lake Uri. In the Racer-Class, the Esseboats-Family was represented by two Esse 750 and five Esse 850 and caught great attention thanks to the overall victory.

You may recognise the design which is adapted to the one of the class of our «big sister», the Esse 850.
