On 7./8. of October 2017, the last official Esseboats event of this season took place in Thalwil as a joint regatta of the Esse 850 and Esse 750 International Class. Five Esse 750 teams from Switzerland sailed a tight but fair and very enjoyable regatta in front of a spectacular setting (see photos).
For the third year in a row, the Esse 750 International Class met July 21-23 for a sailing regatta on Lake St. Moritz.
The traditional long distance race from Zürich to Rapperswil was the prelude to this years Castle Cup. Seven Esse 750 had to share the starting line with 109 other boats.
Genuine yacht racing not far from Esseboats’ home waters in front of the stunning scenery of Rapperswil, that’s what the Esse 750 Castle Cup is all about. On 3./4. of June 2017 it’s that time of the year again. As last season the Castle Cup 2017 edition is also composed by one long distance race from Zürich to Rapperswil on Saturday (details) followed by several up&down races on Sunday in Rapperswil (details). We’re very much looking forward to seeing lots of Esse 750 teams at the starting line!
The first Esse 750 arrived in San Diego last week. The boat has attracted a great deal of attention at the San Diego Yacht Club, the owner says.
